Yevgenia Tymoshenko, the daughter of former Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko, speaking today in an interview with RFE/RL correspondent Antoine Blua.

“She was watching [Monday’s football] game between Ukraine and Sweden. It’s been very good for Ukraine — we won. Before, when she was prime minister, [along] with her colleagues, sports activists and sports people in the government, they made sure that Ukraine would be hosting the championship. For her it’s very important. She’s always supported the Ukrainian team.”
