RFE/RL’s Mashaal Radio reports:
Two training aircrafts collided and crashed in Rashakai town of Nowshera district in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province on Thursday morning. The area where the crash took place is located close to Risalpur, which is a training academy for the Pakistan Air Force (PAF). District coordination officer Ayaz Mandokhail confirmed the news to Radio Mashaal.
Meanwhile local residents say that have recovered a dead body of a pilot and are trying to recover pilot of the other crashed aircraft. They further say that one aircraft hit a house while the other crashed in nearby fields, however no other casualties are seen.
A Mashaal correspondent from the scene, in his latest update, reports four pilots were killed in the crash.
