@RadioAzadi interviews Maryam Durani, included in @TIME’s 100 most influential people list: “I cannot say for sure, but I hope that my work in women’s rights field has made an impact in the lives of women in my province. I work with many women.”
Maryam Durani, who has been selected one of the most “influential” people in the world by the U.S. newsmagazine Time, speaking Sunday (April 22) to Radio Free Afghanistan.
Durani also runs a women’s radio station.
“The radio [‘Woman’] I run, broadcasts 12 hours daily. Like many other radio stations, our radio includes programs on politics, entertainment and social issues, but we try to make every program relevant to women.”
