“Khimki citizens informed our headquarters that resident registration offices worked overnight and 200 new Khimki residents were registered just in one [election] district. We are going to verify this information and see how it was possible that registration offices worked through the night before election day. This election is neither fair nor clean.”

Kabul’s Deputy Police Chief Daud Amin speaking to reporters confirmed that a suicide attack took place in front of Italy’s embassy today.
“As we could see, several children that were working in the area as street vendors were among victims of today’s attack. We don’t exactly know - the aim of today’s attack - but because a number of special events take place in Kabul today, they apparently couldn’t succeed in targeting today’s events due to tight security arrangements, and couldn’t get into a near by ISAF compound and eventually blew him in this area.”
